    Ali was never KO'd.

You claim Morrison could do it.

For me Tommy was very much a left hooking Shavers. Ali didn't like left hooks at all...

Yeah, Shavers was throwing a lot of hooks in that fight, because he knew Ali was vulnerable to left hooks.
true. Morrison does have an excellent left hook and it would've been a major weapon in this fight.

True, but Tommy would n't have a chance to land it that often,as Ali would be on the lookout for it.

i loved this post :good The Richard Dunn fight was Ali's best post Manila performance. I know that it's easier to look good against a Dunn than against a Norton, but Ali's actual performance itself was better against the Englishman. He had that pre Manila bounce in his legs, which he did n't have in the rubber match with Norton.

For the right. Isn't it obvious?

Rd 1: "He can't be serious with this left hook, left hook, left hook-business. He wants to put me to sleep with the right."

Rd 15: "****. He was serious."

Difference in quality between Joe's left hook and Tommy's.

I don't disagree, of course, but Ali was prone to get the left hook regardless, even though he knew to look for it. And Frazier wasn't the only one to show it.

I do n't doubt that Morrison would land the hook a few times, but the murderous hitting Shavers landed it in their '77 fight, and Muhammad went nowhere,so Morrison would n't get anywhere !

Hell, I didn't say he would!

Me from earlier in the thread:

    I don't think he has a chance.

If I hated Tommy I would have made a more sadistic match-up like putting him in with Mike Tyson
