No one in the history of boxing can take a shot like Ali. But a 70s Ali takes a better shot then a 60s Ali because...... that protective fat? increased bone density? or that relative theory of relativity?

What about Hagler, McCall, Vitali, Wach, G. Jones? Ali was dropped and hurt by 185 lb men, Wach and McCall took shots of 250 lb men without flinching.

 

Vitali was hurt very badly against the worst version of Lennox Lewis
Holyfield took prime Lennox Lewis shots over and over
One shot from 40year old Foreman stunned Holyfield
Ali took a beating by a mean prime Foreman for 8rounds.

The fact that you think that you can tell anything form a, b, c, d, e or f, proved that you know next to about boxing.

You have got a lot of misconceptions about boxing firmly entrenched in your mind, and untill you start to question them, you will never learn anything.

 

If Ali could easily handle Jerry Quarry, who was three times the fighter Morrison was, he would have Tommy for lunch. Let's also remember, Tommy admitted to taking steroids, read that as cheating. Are we talking Tommy without the juice? He would do even worse.

 

By Jerry Quarry isn't as good as Morrison period. Its funny how old school fighters get built up. Well at least some of them. Morrison was bigger and better than Quarry end of story. Sure Morrison was on roids but so was Holyfield and I heard Tyson was on something too.

Quarry was a tough little guy with limited power. Morrison was a much bigger steroid addicted guy.

Ali chin was better in the 70's than 60s because he matured and put on more weight but he was still hurt by Frazier. You will say Frazier is alot better fighter than Morrison. Can you prove it ? They fought in 2 different era's. Those 190 pound fighters Frazier fought earlier in his career, Morrison couldn't beat?

Clearly Morrison was the harder puncher. Frazier was a break you down after round after round puncher. Morrison was a explosive puncher. Who was tougher? Clearly Frazier. Who was faster? Clearly Morrison. Frazier was a guy who had to come foward, Morrison could actually box moving away.

I actually hate Morrison's guys and I am a big Frazier fan. But it is what it is. If Frazier could hurt Ali then So could Morrison and if Ali wins it wouldn't be a easy fight.

 

Are you suggesting that the worst version of Lennox Lewis hits less hard than 185 lb runt Henry Cooper? :rofl

 

Morrison said his normal bodyweight without steroids was about 185. So if he fought Quarry clean, he would give away about 15 pounds. The only men who ever lived who could give Jerry 15 pounds and win were Marciano, Dempsey, and maybe Langford. Quarry beat huge Ron Lyle and power puncher Shavers so he would demolish a 185 Morrison.

Only thing I said is its stupid to say he was put down by a 185lb man when George Foreman couldn't even put him down..when a Old Foreman did that to Holy etc etc

 

The point is Morrison was on steroids and weighed 220, If we going to bring up roids then count that against the Klitschkos and Holyfield too. And since Morrison was on roids and this thread doesn't say a clean Morrison vs Ali then Ali isn't blowing Morrison out. Since you pick a post Manilla Ali then Morrison stands a great chance to TKO Ali.
