Morrison would blow his load early and get his head jabed of his shoulders for ten rounds Ali ud (Ali later dies from aids though because Morrison blew his load to near him)

Unlike the Mercer fight, I don't think Morrison would ever have Ali in any serious trouble (ikd, maybe once). He might be able to trade some good jabs for a while, but he isn't touching Ali.

I suppose we can all use a good comic relief thread from time to time :)

In his dreams, he better wake up and apologize. If he cannot beat Rocky Balboa in a street fight, then what makes him think that he could beat a prime Muhammad Ali of 1964-1967. Ali would float around him and laugh at him and his Mulett. Ali stops Morrison in round 13, who collapses from sheer exhaustion from trying to catch the butterfly, but get's stung by the bee. Ali does not do steroids like the Giants of these days, nobody can naturally grow to be 6"9 easily.

Totally on board with this thought. Morrison was as exhausted as a fighter can get after 12 rounds with a slow Foreman who just wasn't trying that hard to win. What makes anyone think that he can last 15 with a prime, untouchable butterfly?

With all due respect, if you were toying with a fighter like Henry Cooper before winning the title, you might get dropped by Cooper too. Because in the rematch on May 21 1966, he did not toy with Henry, TKO 6 victory for Ali as champion.

Absolutely hysterical. I wrote that whole bit, thinking the guy who wrote that Morrison beats Ali over 15 is a freak. Then after I post it, out of curiosity I scroll back to see who wrote that, and it was me! I completely forgot that I wrote that. Of course, I was joking 100%.

Ali was also dropped by left hooks from Frazier and banks so I thinks it’s very possible for Morrison to score one or two flash knockdowns, especially since his hook was quicker and more powerful than Frazier’s, banks’, and cooper’s.

Usually when a fighter suffers more than one knockdown, he usually loses. But if that is your opinion that Ali loses to the likes of Tommy Gunn Morrison, that is your choice. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I respect everyone's opinion, as I have mine.

Did you even read my first post in this thread? I said Ali would ko Tommy, but I think it’s possible that Ali gets dropped one or two times because if I recall correctly the only times he was dropped were by left hooks, and I think Tommy had a much better hook than the guys that dropped Ali, but I still think Ali would win

Better than Joe Frazier's? I could understand Sonny Banks but Frazier's? Tommy was a shot in the pan, he feasted on slow fighters like old George Foreman. Ali would be floating around the ring in 1967. He did not float around against Frazier in 1971, he had only two comeback fights against Jerry Quarry and Oscar Bonavena, he had been banned from boxing fro 1967 until 1970 for his draft evasion conviction in 1967. But from my experience in watching boxing through the years, it is rare for a fighter to win if he has been knocked down twice in a fight. Joe Frazier was knocked down twice against Oscar Bonavena on Sept 21 1966. Frazier got up, was given the decision but it was hotly disputed.

Ok what was the point of typing all that??? If he could get dropped by a left hook from banks and cooper in his prime than I think it’s possible he could get dropped from Morrison’s faster and stronger hook. I still think Ali would ko Tommy though
