And he is right about Ali as a modern day CW assuming day before weigh ins or longer Ali could have easily made that.
Where most can safely lose & regain up to ~ 10% of their body weight.

Ali could choose not to weight drain, bulk up or not-Wilder was exactly what prime Ali was in one of his fights, 212 & 1/2-at 4 inches taller (no lower body muscle mass).

No, rehydrating does not tell if someone is using steroids.
And you do not need to be a HW to use. Also some drugs maximize strength not bulk.

But it is foolish & unfair to assume everyone uses, or anyone muscular does.
I have known many quite large lifetime natural dudes.
And some who use never get that big due to efficiency of dosing, genetics, or other factors.

Do not mock or dismiss whole categories of boxers without knowing if they cheat & lie or not.

 

I think either iteration of Ali is far too much for Morrison.

In the 60s he'd dance around him making him look a slow footed fool.

In the 70s he'd be too strong and would time and knock Morrison out.

I do think Morrison has a good chance of landing a flash knockdown against 60s Ali when he's leaning back, but over the course of the fight Tommy just isn't good enough to beat Ali.

Morrison loaded up his shot sometimes and he had very big shoulders with a muscular frame. This ironically makes his hook a little more telegraphed and people can sometimes see the shot coming and brace for it.

Frazier's hook was like a lion tamer's whip. Very fast and sharp. It could be launched suddenly without any warning at all and he could double or even triple up on it mid combo.

I agree, except that Morrison's hook was quicker and stronger than Frazier's. Never in a million years.

 

Tommy would load it up a lot, but he really didn’t have to, ive seen his hook come out of nowhere in a couple of his fights

Exactly how I would see it going, except I think 60s Ali could also ko Tommy since he would likely be very gassed by round 5 or 6 trying to catch a young Ali.

 

No one can grow to jack in the bean stock proportions, it seems that these days everyone is 6"8 or larger, is it organic food that their parents ate? Does this offend you? How does it make you feel? "The point of typing all that" which seems to have escaped you is that you stated Morrison had a better hook than the guys who dropped Ali which would include Frazier. This does not stand even mild scrutiny.

But if that's the version you wanna use... Ali inside of 5. It'd be very similar to the Williams fight.
