but are you telling this bunch of crap seriously? :rofland you have the courage to say that my comment was a nonsense? lol you are talking about fantasy things created by your mind type " morrison would have weighed 190 pounds in the 50s" lmao the reality is that morrison was a big guy and he was a natural 220 pounder and he was naturally in his real era much bigger than marciano ever was.morrison never was 6´1 , he was 6´2 watch him next to foreman, he never looked small or short, and he was not lean, you can´t build the frame of your thorax in a gym, the guy had a huge thorax, and narrow hips? lmao what are you talking about? i know tons of natural strong guys with wide back and narrow hip... so what... it is a v body... jesus what a bunch of crap. does not matter if he trained weights because his frame was much wider and larger than marciano´s if you can´t see it you need glasses
youtube.com/watch?v=7zjoaq90bwY you can see even in his early career when he was a boy and he did not use roids that he had a thick thorax, morrison was a natural full sized hw, he was naturally much bigger than marciano, if you want to see a body built in GYM YOU HAVE HOLYFIELD, MORRISON NEVER LOOKED LIKE THAT, HE WAS NATURALLY BULKER morrison was 6´2 you can see him next to the 6´3 pinklon thomas .youtube.com/watch?v=2HLAkl28jNc
I met Tommy in 94. He was a big dude with a big frame. Plus, his left hook was all technique and natural swing. He would have had that with or without the juice. Still, his head was so ****ed up so frequently you could never rely on the ideal version of him arriving in the ring.
Morrison weighed in high 200's till he went all steroid, and steroids, weight, height, anything else, Marciano still ko's him. Every week some idiot starts a thread on some average fighter and Marciano, and this same stuff has to be gone over again. '"Marciano was a cruiserwieght!" Dumb argument, first, there was no cruisereweight division, which most know, second, without it, guys under 200 were still often heavyweight champ. All the fighters throughout history who weighed 230, 240, 250----as many guys shorter or lighter won and held title. "But they were all unskilled!!!" Really? No one had skill till cruiserweights came along? :rofl
He was trying to put on the polite face but he was kind of a ****y *******. So what. I felt more sorry for him even then ... even though the guy was as talented as most of those who held belts in the 90's. Tommy's story is a tragedy, and though I hate playing the victim card, there is more than a bit of that in his narrative. Some of the **** I have heard about his upbringing, if true, makes Jack Quarry look like a saint.
Michael Bent did not KO Morrison...........3 Knock down rule but Tommy was never out of it , he just fought like a complete idiot walking into shots while trying to take Bents head off.......... Rocky Marciano was never ever hit as hard as modern fighters hit and that is a good damn fact, with his style he would never ever compete in todays Hwt's.........he would get murdered, hell , it would never get sanctioned and no Network would put money behind it. Rocky was smart, he knew his limitations and came around the right time fighting tomatoe cans and washed up old fighters out of the soup kitchen and still went life and death with some of them. He also saw the writing on the wall and got out early, especially by todays standards. In a time machine Morrison would be a absolute monster in the 50's and would be classified in the classic section as almost unbeatable......
This is an utterly laughable false statement Ezzard Charles, rated # 1 heavyweight by ring magazine when he fought Marciano Joe Louis, rated # 2 heavyweight by ring magazine when he fought Marciano Jersey Joe Walcott, heavyweight champion of the world when he fought Marciano Archie Moore, Light-H Champion, rated # 1 heavyweight by ring magazine when he fought Marciano
moore also has the best ko record of just about anyone. but choi hong man is apparently the best boxer ever. He would ko marciano in seconds, look how big he is!
Greatness can overcome an artuficial size advantage. There was nothing natural about Morrison. All hair dye, fake tan, eye liner and steroids. In another era Morrison would not have been any bigger than zora folly.
marciano-frazier you are a ***** simpleton and you are nobody on this forum, ******ed,just a little worm hidden and talking trash from his cave, you never did answer a thread with any point about boxing, just quit waste human :hi: are you spanish accidentally?
Marciano trained very hard to be that weight. His style was to use attrition to defeat his opponent. Being a fat tub of lard like Tua would not work. He was as lean as he could possibly be without losing too much of his natural power. If Morrison caught him with a hail Mary on the button, he might possiblh be hurt, but he was never seriously hurt so we can not be sure. Even if that happened, which is a strong if, he would most likely be able to continue. Once he recovered he would eventually catch up to the steroid ridden Morrison who would have blown his load mid fight while Marciano's incredible endurance would result in a quick ending once Morrison was caught, gjven his egg chin. There is no way Morrison could be favoured by even the most bias nuthuggers with any boxing knowledge.
