I have lotta' repsect for Roscoe Puritty's willingness to fight just about anyone / anywhere... :deal Yes, Mercer was horrible on the card with Wilson...:good The draw was sketchy.:huh That 1994 ESPN card was one of the more better cards that lousy network has aired since 1979... :yep MR.BILL:hat NOTE: The shame is, both "Puritty & Wilson" probably got paid animal droppings while both Tommy and Raymond were taken care of by ESPN... :verysad:roll:
Couldn't have put it better. :thumbsup Much respect goes to Ross from me. He always showed up in shape and ready to test whoever was across from him. I think that definitely helped his iron chin hold up through the course of facing plenty of punchers, whereas too many guys routinely sabotage their own punch resistance by partying too much between fights and/or not showing up to fights in proper shape (mental and physical). As time goes on, that win over Wlad has to get more and more satisfying as Klitschko keeps on winning. Nothing lets kids know you're legit quicker than being able to say you stopped a future Hall of Fame heavyweight champ. :deal
