i believe tommy beats satterfield in a fight where he has to come off the floor to win but galento gives him an old school beatin' that makes him quit fighting.
Hard to say I am not sure Tommy had the resolve of Rex Layne who got off the floor vs Satterfield, I remember the Brent fight and my bet would go with Bob in this one.
Yeah, I can't see the Duke pulling a Rex Layne. If Satterfield shows up that agressive and catches Morrison with that many punches clean, it would be over with quickly. I honestly think it would end up looking like the Brent fight..Satterfield's KOs over Oma and Baker came after he was hurt and his opponent foolishy tried to dust him off without caution. Even beyond the Brent fight, Morrison still often got himself into trouble mistiming his aggression. Galento would brutalize Morrison unforunately, 2 Ton isn't getting stopped and his abusive fouling and left hook bombing would be too overwhelming, even if the Duke tried to run and gun like he did against Foreman.
Satterfiel-Morrison is two big punchers with weak chins. It would be exciting while it lasts, and absolutely impossible to know who'd prevail. Yes, Galento should beat Morrison. Brutally.
galento would ktfo morrison.galento was a badass and a great trash-talker. On 28 June 1939 Galento fought for the heavyweight championship of the world against the redoubtable all time great heavyweight champion, Joe Louis. At this time Louis was heavily favored (8 to 1) to stop Galento. Galento was not impressed. In a pre-fight interview, Galento summed up his perspective on the fight as follows: * Reporter: "Tony, what do you think your chances are against Joe Louis?" * Galento: "Joe who?" * Reporter: "Joe Louis." * Galento: "I never hoid of da bum." hillarious :rofl
i liked the one were he knocked a reporter out after being asked for the umpteenth time "what does it feel like to be ko'd by joe louis".....like this...bang
