Cooper has a puncher's chance, but the Duke probably whacks him out over 5 rounds or so.

Tommy beats Peter and Stiverne down. McCall probably gets outpointed, but has a puncher's chance maybe in the later rounds.

He'd get knocked out a bunch of times but might beat Cooper if he were coming off a coke binge and didn't train.

He probably loses to all of them.

He could beat Cooper. The other three are tough matches for the Duke. I think he gasses and loses to Peter and McCall late. He may be able to outbox Stiverne. Who was terrible against Wilder and as bad against Ray Austin until the 10th.

Morrison KO Stivirne who wasn't much outside of beating Chris Arreola , what did he do?:huh

Morrison was to big, athletic, and had more *****, than Cooper who quit against Foreman after only 1 round, Morrison beat George convincingly, Morrison KO'S Cooper..

Morrison UD Mccall, Morrison would outbox him like he did Foreman.

Sam Peter just to big and strong and all wrong for Tommy, Peter knocks him out in the middle rounds, in an all out war ...

    I'd favour Peter by KO

    Mccall would be a 50/50

    He beats the rest.

McCall KO's him. Of that, I have zero doubt.

Peter and Stiverne KO him, also.

Tommy was hurt and wobbled, if not flattened, by nearly every b-rater he faced.

Again, there is a reason he only cracked the top in Ring's annual ratings TWICE... and both times barely. He just wasn't that goo.

Where am I? I thought i was in the classic section where people knew boxing.

Morrison annihilates Peters. That guy could knock out an old and fattened up middle weight over 24 rounds. He lost wide to Chambers who did nothing but stand dead centre of the ring popping a jab.

He got brutalized by Helenius - a much lesser version of Morrison who had a far inferior left hook which put Peter to sleep.

Picking Peter to beat Morrison is the most ridiculous thing i ever heard.
Thats like picking Chisora to beat Lewis.

I think all of them beat Morrison, probaby by KO.

Cooper left hook is shorter and crisper than Morrison's.
The Sam Peter than fought Wlad in their first fight wills himself to victory.
Stiverne's boxer/puncher style is too much for Tommy to handle.
McCall because he can box, can't be hurt and can punch a bit.

Peter had a chin. Morrison didn't. That goes a long way in this division. Putting Morrison on the canvas, with his leaky defense, shallow gas tank and china mandible was a hell of a lot easier than putting any version of Toney there.

I thought this was the Classic section where people understood the basics of the sport.

Weaknesses are going to stand out a lot more in a great HW era like the 90's. Morrsion would blow a hole through the HW division of the last 10 years.

Toney doing what he did is a testament to how weak it was.

    Look at it like this.

Tua was better than Peter in every way shape and form yet Tua was nothing but a fringe contender.

In this era Peter is WBC Champ , one of the top guys in the division and came very short of knocking out the main man. This era's talent pool is a puddle compared to the grand lake that came before it.

A lot was made of Tommys poor stamina but he was Rocky Marciano compared to Peters 4 round gas tank. Peter in the 90's would never have made it past club level.

He could never take out anybody late in a fight and never beat anybody of any note.

Morrison fought and won with two broken hands and a broken jaw. He ins't getting taken out by a guy who took two rounds to walk across the ring.

At least when Morrison stepped up he won some.....once Peter stepped up he had the shid beaten ......getting to a glass jawed Oleg or super china Jeremy Williams is nothing to write home about......and fat Toney aint beating Morrison.

Stiverene, who ? The definition of a no hoper.

McCall if on most likely will beat Morrison but if McCall is just going thru the motions like he did many times all bets are off.

Trial horse Cooper ? Lol, the chance to get him to be clear of blow is zero to none so Morrison has to be a decisive favorite.

Stiverne would wreck Morrison. Morrison would want no part of a guy with powerful counterpunching and an iron chin. It would be bedtime.

Again, tell me why Morrison was ranked in the Ring's Top Ten only twice in his career... both times on the edge. What have you fine folks learned since his retirement that contemporary observers did not understand? Hell, even Sam Peter was there for 4 years and at #'s 2 & 3...

Anyone with a decent, not great but decent, punch who Morrison couldn't run away from had a very good chance to beat him.
