He can't fight more than a round without getting winded anyways, all those HIV meds, ****ed up his respiratory system, and 1 of his former managers also said he has HEP C, the guy's a ****ing mess...

For a minute there, I thought this was a fixed fight. Are you kidding me, was this a movie skit? Tommy's body looks horrible, his voice sounds horrible, and he is winded by throwing light punches.

Morrison doesn't look so great fighting now. He should retire. I did think he was a good fighter in his prime. He outboxed George Foreman. He was underrated.

 

Tommy had a ton of surgeries even before the Lennox Lewis bout and he was what, 26 then? That many surgeries on all those different locations translates to a guy being a lot closer to 36 than 26 ringwise.

Simply put, he was a 1990 Volvo 240 with 475,000 on the odometer > Lewis and you have to treat that car different than you do one just off the assembly line or with 44k on it. New icing on 2 week old cake and the sport of boxing just isn't a forgiving one. Morrison had a fine career while it lasted and people payed to watch his fights and he did have a fine performance against Foreman in a bout lots of folks were picking him to get brutally ko'd.

It's funny how of the top heavyweight prospects from that era like Bowe/Morrison/Ruddock/etc. didn't really hold up long time wise compared to the cruiser that moved up, Holyfield. Perhaps Mercer hung around but a lot of his time was not at the top 5 or elite level. By far the best was Lewis.

 

Tommy looks horribly atrophied in that video(teh AIDs?). His arms look tiny, legs look tiny and all around he looks unhealthy. His chest however look bountiful. It look like implants cause when he raises his arm they are the same as when his arm is lowered...

 

With the state the heavyweight division in Tommy Morrison could capture one of the belts and reign for over 5 years
