If he really is HIV+ than he shouldn't be fighting. That's pretty obvious. But what concerns me is what if he has to to make a living? Didn't he have any insurance policy to secure his future in case of sth like that would happen to him? Maybe all fighters should be getting some regular payment in their retirement. That would save them from being in such horrible situations.atsch Btw - Why can't we see any videos of Morrison's recent fights? I've seen some pictures from one lately and Tommy's face looked like there was a make up on it or like it was after some plastic surgery. He looked pretty well but to me it seemed like it was a mask. Does he hide some signs of the disease? It seems to me that Tommy is one tough, decent guy. Never saw him complaining. Wish him all the best. Take care Tommy!
I dont think you can get insurance to cover illnesses such as HIV - to be brutual about it, it is self inflicted to a certain degree. If he has had the infection for more than a decade, I am surprised he can get himself in shape to fight to be honest, so may be he is telling the truth. Why not just take a test, and then everyone will know. It isn't anything to be ashamed of, but by fighting, he is putting himself, his opponent, the referee and his cutsman at risk, and must be stopped, unless he provides a negative sample.

It seems he isn't very eager to do it...
I would have thought that ten years of having the virus would wear you down sufficiently to disable you from being an elite athlete though! He may have had it for more than ten years - they often say it is a random thing to get tested, could have had it for three or four years more than that anyway.
I don't think that just having the virus in your blood affects you much if at all. Damage to your body starts with the disease itself which theoretically may not come out for years if ever.
I think Tommy would have a chance landing a role in a movie. Maybe one like the Marv character Mickey Rourke played in Sin City. :!: i wonder which one of the 2000 chicks tommy claimed to of shagged gave him the virus:huh . 2000 chicks by 26:happy
Tommy can fight small time opponents but no big time fighter wants to fight him and risk getting HIV.
