For the younger crowd, this guy is a lot of fun, and for the older crowd, this guy is still a lot fun! This content is protected
He was great to watch definitely, dynamite left hook but could be vulnerable and that is probably the best 2 combinations for fight fans. Pure excitement
I didnt know how devastating he was on the upside. On the downside he had terrible punch resistance himself. I would think part of that decline was due to his lifestyle out of the ring, which became very wild.
Morrison came across as a very likeable guy. An exciting boxer, and he spoke very well. He had a tough life growing up, and it seems as though he couldn't reign himself in when the fame hit him. The way he aged about 10 years in the space of 18 months is one of the most alarming things I've seen. It is sad to think that Morrison (allegedly) knew he was HIV positive for years and continued to have undisclosed, unprotected sex with countless women. As someone who really was a fan of Morrison, that does unfortunately affect the way I reflect on him.
?...Price had the chin, but not the heart....Morrison doesn't have the chin, but he sure as hell had a fighter's heart.
There are conflicting reports. Morrison was more than lucid for a suitable stretch after his diagnosis, so I don't buy your theory whatsoever.
A lot of fun to watch and a decent addition to a great 90s HW division Definitely soured on him as a person as certain news broke as Saf mentions
Was good and very watchable boxer in his prime. Sadly his prime was very short. Actually like Tyson's prime too. Good boxers, short real prime periods. Me liked to watch prime Morrison fights and if he get another road in life, lad might had seriously improved further and to have good long career. Morrison in his prime is one from U.S boxers who likes me a lot.
