    Feel good story?
    Father ended up a broke meth head, denying he had HIV up until the day he died of AIDS.
    Son decides to follow father's example in becoming a professional boxer.
    To be continued .......

    :lol::good

    20 years ago in his pop's era, he could've made great money with that angle.

    Problem is that for most of this millennium, the Klitschkos have been on top, and there's UFC. It's not so novel to see a white guy winning titles anymore. Luckily, the same formula gets used to build up all U.S. heavies these days, so get ready to see him wiping out bums like he's playing Grand Theft Auto anyways. :lol:

    I have seen most of his fights, here's what you need to know.

    Trey Lippe ( Morrison's son ) is a good athlete. He was a college linebacker in football. He's being managed by the same matchmaker that Tommy Morrison started out with.

    In the ring, Trey Lippe has fast hands, very good power in the hook, and looks a bit like his father. He was dropped in his debut, but not close to being hurt. Since turning professional, Trey Lippe has improved his head movement and defense. Unlike his father he seems to easier to train and without the outside of the ring troubles.

    His main drawback is he's got a 74" reach, which means he'll need to press the fight. Do I think he's a top ten fighter? These days, you never know. But he's entertaining, and heavyweight boxing can use a good story.

    After Rocky five was released and Tommy was so popular and well-known, he apparently Took full of vantage of the ladies desire to be with him and he screwed anything and everything with s snatch

    The tragic outcome aside, I bet he sure enjoyed himself during that era

    I recall for seeing Tommy on the USA network's Tuesday night fights

    That must've been in the mid 90s

    He was a good boxer that was impressive and exciting to watch given his powerful hook shot, but I'll never forget the time Mercer got himknocked out and propped up against the ropes, and kept pounding him into oblivion

    Anyway, I hope Trey does well, and continues his winning ways

    he certainly has an interesting story to attract even more of an audience to his career
