Wow that's crazy. I don't know how I missed this. It must not have received much coverage. Thanks for posting. If true my respect for Tommy goes out the window. I don't know how he performed at such a high level with the disease for that long. I always felt he had it during the Lewis fight he just wasn't the same that night and he tested positive in next bout. But 6 years. Insane and shameful on his part. My only skepticism is the the source. Did no major news outlets cover this?
I haven't looked into who covered it, but I'm not sure how interested the general public would even be at this point. The court documents are linked to the article and you can read through them. Seems credible to me.
I just googled it and another link came up from a friend of Tommy's from 2013 he also claimed Morrison had it since 89. That's crazy it does seem plausible.
seeing as th wbo strap was not recognised in his time, giving hiv to lots of women would be his true most impactive legacy
Idk, I'm not Tommy Morrison. HIV doesn't have any significance whatsoever on his standing in boxing historically. You guys are just bringin' up old **** that isn't even relevant to boxing. It's not right to dog on the dead like this.
