Really has nothing to do with the thread, but since you brought it up...
Don't feel bad for Jermain, he is doing/has done just fine...I wouldn't call being the undisputed MW champion of the world, beating arguably the best MW champion ever...twice, and becoming a multi, multi millionaire in the process as "almost making it".

Deal, but do you plan to go to each thread in which you've insulted posters and other fighters for the sake of spreading your delusional fan boy predictions and each all your crow as well?

Chavez won't go within ten feet of any Argentinian.I'd say that was pretty racist.
And Rios keeps turning up heavy trying to get an out or gain an unfair advantage.

I forgot.Rios gives money to a girl with cancer but "doesn't like to talk about it"
He just mentions it in an interview with Europe's premier boxing publication.
We really need to look at ourselves.

There's going to be lots of **** getting bumped come Sunday, everyone is going to have to take theirs I guess aslong as it's decisive win for either fighter one way or another.

Talent levels, and past performances. The closest fighter Hopkins has faced to Dawson was Joe Calzaghe. Both are speedy southpaw boxers. That's where the similarities end. Calzaghe is a better fighter than Chad. He's smarter, makes better adjustments, and fights at a faster tempo. The slight adjustments he made, and the tempo are what won him the fight against Hopkins. Even still, he struggled to land any good punches, and ate several good punches himself. It was no surprise to me that it was a split decision.

Chad is not as good at making adjustments, and he doesn't fight at as high of a tempo. If you look at the first fight, Chad got off a lot more punches than Hopkins in those two rounds. However, he barely landed the punches he did throw. If you watch Hopkins, you know that he almost always starts slow. He takes a couple of rounds to figure out his opponent, and once he does, he starts to dominate. At Hopkins' most vulnerable time, Chad was unable to really capitalize. It's not going to take Hopkins as long to figure out Dawson this fight. He's going to frustrate the hell out of Dawson, and he's going to be doing most of the clean work. However, Dawson is the younger guy, and he does have the brighter future. It wouldn't surprise me if he took a decision based off of a higher workrate, despite Hophkins doing the cleaner work.
