Taylor and Linares are both solid candidates for a entry into the top ten glass jaw rankings. No question. How many times does Taylor have to get KTFO before people realize the guy just doesn't have the greatest set of whiskers???

jermaint taylor doesnt have a glass jaw. period. its not concrete but it sure as **** aint glass. yeah he's been ko'd three times lately but consider the circumstances.

1. pav was landing that right hand anytime he wanted to and jermain finally got hurt.

2. froch...he was out on his feet b/c he has sub-standard stamina and was a sitting duck.

3. aa hit him cold flush w/ a right hand. so, either aa is feather fisted and jt has a glass jaw or aa can knock out anyone at 160-168...:think

I mean when you look at Haye, hes a solid looking dude and pretty damn big CW.

You cant really tell if he had a good chin or not unless you seen him fight...


Khan is one of those guys where his face just looks like a feather and i sometimes when i see Khan i imagine like a pigeon feather in the air when theres a big gust of wind. Its like, he looks so soft his face seems, how you say, "dent able"

I dunno its kinda like a facial look that you know somone is going to have a bad chin.

and also, i think Indians overall have bad chins anyways... whens the last time you seen a boxer form India?

He is Indian right? I mean, sure he is English but not a Native Orgin English guy...

 

Taylor definitely has a glass jaw. Or, more specifically, he's got the same problem Wlad seems to have. He panicks and makes extremely bad decisions when he gets his hard. For example, backing himself into a corner against Pavlik instead of holding...classic bad decision. Same thing with Abraham. Fortunately for Wlad he has is often taller and stronger than his opponents, so he doesn't really get tagged on the chin too much. And when he doesn, nowadays, he smartly holds.

you cant judge a guys chin by just his looks, khan chin looks like a bum literally like 2 cheeks. naseem hamed didnt look sturdy at all he looks like he could go down with one punch but he has a got a solid chin.

 

We can't really tell yet because we've never seen him hit hard by a big-punching heavyweight. And the pillow-punching Valuev who hasn't had a ko in over three years isn't gonna answer that question for us. Only heavy hitters like the K brothers, Tua, Arreola can answer that question for us.
