He hasn't got it anymore.... I woukd hate to see a great fighetr like Toney get hurt in the ring or get embarassed becos we all know what kinda fighter he was in his prime. Does he need money?
217.5? I will beleve it when I see it. If it is true good for James Toney. It shows that he is putting some effort. To give his best. However at his age I hope it is not too little too late. I think an in shape James TYoney can beat a lot of good heavyweights but I don't know about becomong heavyweight champion.
If Golota beats Adamek then there's no reason Toney can't fight again, even though he talks too much shite.

Way to go James Toney....its been a long time since he has been in the ring, heck I started my radio and his last fight was our first topic....so I hope he's got something in the tank, cause I always liked watching him fight.
It'll prove Toney will still be around getting fights at the top level he probably doesn't deserve because he can stay active and beat decent journeyman at his age but his reflexes look shot. Toney gets hit way too often now, he's a counterpuncher by style, and now that he can't defend a lot of those punches he used to his career is about over at the top level. Toney really had a shot at being a good HW champ a few years back but he threw it away with weight issues and bad decisions(steroids in the Ruiz fight).
