    He has been calling them out for years. 215 220lbs toney is still a dangerous man. Maybe old but still game. Old school warrior. Looks to be serious about boxing again.

    If toney wins cw title prepare for VK or wlad vs toney spring 2012.

    I wanna see it. Call him fat or whatever but he is in shape now and i respect him for that. Toney will show up to fight.

    Toney vs a k bro would be a huge draw. He would give us a way better fight than haye. Briggs. Kingpin. Gomez. Rahan etc..

    Toneys mouth would make him win the event.

    Wlad vs toney makes sense. 215lb could give wlad trouble. 260 lb toney is a punching bag.

    Hope not. A klit would beat on him for several rounds instead of KOing him early. At this point it wouldn't be good for his health.

    I'd like nothing more than to believe that James was a threat to any of the top heavies at this point. I don't. I think you could combine the best attributes of every heavyweight in the top ten and you wouldn't get a quarter of a prime Toney's p4p value. But, no. He doesn't have it in him anymore to be a factor at heavyweight. The balance and reaction time, no, he's not got enough left in him for being a 5'9-5'10 former middleweight champ. Although if the Lebedev fight completely contradicts what I'm saying, I'll be more than happy to be mistaken here.

    I hear ya. It he looks great and gets a sweet ko than send him to a k bro. The old warrior deserve a shot. Im shocked ig he can get to 200 lbs. That shows ya something.

    I'd rather see him face Hopkins if he looks any good. Shame they never fought each other. Better late than never. Tarver would be a better option too.

    I was entirely against it before...but hell, if Toney dropping weight is just a ruse for publicity, consider me sold since I'm entertaining the thought much more now that he's gotten back in shape. Hopefully it's not like when Byrd dropped down to 175 where it's just too late to move down effectively and he's considerably weaker for it. If James beats Lebedev clearly, I wouldn't have a problem with him getting a shot vs Vitali. I'd prefer to see him fight Hopkins or Tarver.

    Toney-Wlad still doesn't interest me much.

    Toney should fight Huck and get a belt instead, Lebedev brings nothing to the table but a difficult fight with little reward
