Toney has no business fighting HW period, much less for a title.

At least with Arreola, there's the possibility of an upset as the guy can punch.

There is no possible scenario where Toney can come out of this with a victory.

And against the bigger Klit, no way to come out with his health intact.

Thats a big "What If", but if he does make it to the ring in-shape, his oppenent better be ready for a war.

Jack Presscot- I think Toney has good enough chance of grabbing a belt as anyone else in the division, thats just hope he's not on roids and is at a healthy weight when he does get that opertunity.:good

Toney is far from an ATG at heavyweight....Please....
How much money has Toney made after he decided to price himself out with Wlad ? 1 fight with Wlad equaled more money than all he made since + if he was so sure of winning, he would have racked up a belt and seriously upgraded his status at heavyweight in order to command a huge payday afterwards..possibly on HBO PPV !

Klitschko fights safety first and that can be boring at times, that's the only thing I can agree with what you're saying..

I would welcome a Wlad Klitschko vs. Toney fight, I'm all for it. Toney talks a nice line of **** but he doesn't back it up with actions, at least not lately. He was offered a fight vs. Klitchko and he priced himself out. He's simply not worth the amount he's asking for.

Would I prefer the fight with Arreola instead? I'm not sure. I think I would because Arreola is a young, up & coming fighter with power and a brawling style, he's clearly more dangerous than Toney.

even funnier is the Toney nuthuggers saying he has a chance to KO Wlad. Even with Wlad's fragile Chin Toney has ZERO power at Heavyweight. Wlad would tee off on Toney's fat steroid bloated face and not even worry about a counter punch. Wlad is a totally different fighter when he knows his opponent can't hurt him. See the two Byrd fights as evidence.

Certainly Toney has a bit more "name" value for the Wladimir legacy but James would get seriously hurt & more than likely KO'd brutally.

Agreed. How's Toney going to get inside where he shines best? How's he gonna get past that jab? Oquendo had Toney hurt, what's a right hand from Klitschko going to do to him.

Wlad has his faults but for a big man like him he has deadly handspeed especially on his jab and straight right.

If you also take into account the height and reach difference this fight is a HUGE mismatch. Toney does not have the skill set of a prime Tyson to slip and get inside. Toney's head would be nothing but a target.

Now after reading the delusional posts here from the Toney fans I am all for this fight now. Funny, most of them are the same ones that were trying to give Sam Peter a skill set that he doesn't have and tell us he would beat VitKlit.

We all saw how that went Peter lost every second of every round and quit so he would not get brutally KOed.

If Wlad/Toney happens I am going with Wlad via Toney quitting on his stool.

Rahman was rocked in the third round of the rematch after he was cut, did Toney land any right hand in the first two rounds?, only when Rahman was cut that Toney started opening up knowing he had a seriously cut man infront of him.

Peter came in overweight and horrible in the first fight yet beat Toney in a close fight, the rematch came and Toney was in FAR better than shape and EVERYONE agreed to it, so was Peter. What happened there?, you can give Toney 2 to 3 rounds AT MOST, it looked like a mismatch.

Toney gets knocked out cold against either Klitschko and he KNOWS it. He talks smack about these guys and has been talking smack for YEARS now, whenever the Klitschkos approached him professionally with an offer he runs off with HORRIBLE excuses. He only speaks about wanting to fight them when both are booked to fight knowing they won't send him yet another offer and make the public laugh their asses off at his reaction towards it.
