    • Big mouth
    • Broke
    • Will tap out in round one
    • Embarrassment
Hopefully Toney gets beaten and just goes away to collect welfare like Tyson, Holyfield and Hearns.

Why is the UFC is following the route of the WWE and some professional boxing promotions and creating a circus.

it's called running a business. if they can attract ten thousand curious james toney fans who never watched ufc, then they like the product and 7000 continue to watch ufc, at 40 bucks a pop for ppv then it's worthwhile.

LOL, don't count on it man. Remember he's the first ACTIVE, world class(yes he's still world class) boxer to switch over. Never , ever underestimate really, REALLY intelligent fighters. He's adapted to fighting in 5 different weight classes , he'll adapt to this.

He still has the skill set, intelligence, adaptability, chin and power to be successful as a fighter.

I wish Toney would stick to boxing, at least there he could still make over a million a fight. In the UFC he's lucky if he gets half of that. Dana White makes Don King look like Robin Hood.

I wish Toney the best, and hope it's just a side project. I remember Briggs doing that as well, the first power punch he landed put the dude to sleep. Toney don't have that type of power, but he does have 10 times the skill level. I feel that may be enough to beat alot of UFC fighters at heavyweight.

:-( Thats terrible, and very sad. All the money he generated for the UFC, and thats all he made? Thats why I can't understand why Toney would take such a paycut and do something he's not all that familiar with.

I remember a few years ago everyone saying that about Lesnar, when he went straight from studio wrestling to the UFC. Now he's the best heavyweight in the world. It's funny how just a couple years and a couple fights can really change things.

Lesnar is atheltically in a different class in terms of athletic ability than Toney, plus came in with the best background you can for mma. Boxing is not that background. Lesnar was the one of the very best folkstyle wrestlers in the US at one point.

Toney will get subed or GnP'd out by the first legitimate wrestler or bjj guy he faces.

Id lay money on that. And will.

p.s. Fedor is the best HW in the world by a country mile.

Lesnar has been well out of the real wrestling circuit for close to 10 years when he decided to do UFC.

There definitely is that chance. Now if Toney connects with a solid punch, those guys glass chins will get shattered by a professional boxer. Sylvia was a prime example of this, first big punch from Mercer he melted him like a snowman in july. ****, and the last time Mercer was considered a top heavyweight was in the mid 90's.

Fedor probably is, but his oppenents are garbage. Lesnar fights the best fighters in the world, Fedor doesn't anymore. Thats your difference.
