Arreola, Gomez, Rahman, Brock, Chagaev, Ibragimov (retired) have all been taken out by the Klitschko's

is Toney any closer to a title shot?

Was this stadium in the US?

Well I guess it wasn't so it doesn't exist for Toney. He's talking real boxing not some Euro-trash little football stadium. :yep

Not all of the above mentioned deserved their title-shots. Toney doesn't deserve a shot at the title either at this point, and he certainly won't be given one by the Klits unless he becomes a mandatory challenger.

But I think that's a good thing, Toney needs to show us if and what he has left by beating a couple decent opponets and look good doing so. He should work his way up thru opponents like Quezada and Maskaev, I'm certain he will get his mandatory status and his title-shot then, because he's a legend and a big name. If he can't work himself into a mandatory status anymore, in this weak division, I think facing one of the Klits is pointless then (except for the big paycheck).

Toney is of no danger at all to any Klitschko !! They are both a total nightmare for him in the ring !

He's just too small, in height and reach + he likes to counter punch, its not his style to quickly close the distance...

It would be a sad day for the Toney fans if any of the Klits get him in a ring !!

I like to see Toney retire and sail to sun set and give out his HOF speech in a few years. His speech has deteriorated, whether you think it's by 5% or 30-whatever, he doesn't sound the same, there is nothing for him to prove and if he fights the Klitschko's his going to get a beat down.

I agree. It is very obvious that Toney needs a couple of decent wins as he needs to prove that he is still world class. We have been saying it over and over.

I expect Toney to win those fights and get a title shot against Vitali next year. Vitali will have a tougher time with the small Toney than most people expect.

I agree with that. 41 or not, IF Toney proves us he has something left in the tank and is serious about his business again, coming into his fights at 210-215lbs, I believe he would give the Klits and especially Vitali a good fight, win or lose. At least a better fight than most of their challengers during the last 2 years did.

Toney needs 2-3 SOLID wins over Top 10 boxers in order to put himself into the picture again. Just opening his mouth doesn't cut it anymore. He's 41 not 28 like Haye who gets shots just by talking.
