    All I know is Haglar has to be #1 then..

    1- LAMOTTA- WITHOUT DOUBT, THE MAN HAD AN INSANE CHIN, he ate punches like mm's..

    2- Hagler - never floored, never stopped...

    3-Tiger...

    4- Toney, i reckon Monzon had a chin of iron too..

    Tell me dear friends , aside from Jake LaMotta ,who above on the list could take the
    dozens of vicious blows that Ray Robinson reigned on LaMotta, who weakened by losing
    10 pounds making the 160 lb weight for the fight, and still was on his feet when the ref stopped the bout. ? It is one thing to withstand a hard shot to the jaw, but SRR threw
    blurring combinations on Jake's whiskers and still couldn't drop the Bronx Bull...

    probably Lamotta. Hagler was tough too but Lamotta had more fights than even a guy like Hagler

    also, Hagler fought a few big hitters - Tommy Hearns and Mugabi and never got shook

    but Lamotta went against these guys -

    Danny Nardico did manage to drop Jake near the end of his career... But, that was after many fights in which some of boxing best hitters tried to crack block of granite he had for a chin...

    Great point PP. Toney was very adept at tucking his chin and rolling with the big shots... Hgaler, always had his head moving even LaMotta had his chin tucked to his chest... Still, this is an iron clad (chin ) list ;)
