3 reasons: - Lebedev's style - he likes to go forward - Lebedev is a solid, good fighter but not excactly prime Jirov - Toney has rededicated himself to boxing.
I could be wrong but think James will take a decision-I hope does not get robbed though James is not really a big dangerous puncher , may be a ring rusty and at 43 ca nnot produce the same output than when younger
Toney would school Lebedev so bad if this was just 5 years ago. Toney is old and shot now though, I just dont see him winning... though I do think he will go the distance and make it interesting.
Toney takes it with one hand tied behind his back and his back against the ropes, no disrespect for Lebedev of course. Then, he does that Jirov-Ruiz number again and gets a HW WBA title shot possibly against Povetkin and most probably is caught on roids again. Lol.
"Where white Americans have an inferiority complex (and this also means there will never again be an American white HW champion) white Russians etc. have more of a superiority feeling (hence their dominance in the bigger divisions)...." Don't be silly. Eastern Europeans are in pro boxing, because of economic collapse in newly created democracies. Poverty. When the west declines economically, and more whites are impoverished, you'll see a larger pool in boxing. I guess blacks are afraid to practice MMA, wrestle, swim, or play hockey whites huh? is this an inferiority complex as well or just preference of opportunity? The answer is, blacks and hispanics dominate boxing, numerically because they're the dominant athletes who come from the lower socio-economic scale. We might never see an American white become champion again in the heavyweight division, but it's not out of fear. I hope this doesn't disturb your sound sleep at night.
Roy's boxing was causing problems for Lebedev and I had Roy up when he was KO'd. I can see Toney, who has a better chin than Roy, easily outboxing and winning a dcision against Lebedev.
