Well I don't think he fought with the style to back him up tbh.

Sosa managed it, but had to eat some hellacious hooks on the way in which his own chin couldn't take. Could G-Man eat those same shots? As big a question mark in the chin as Jones is imo.

Jones v McClellan could very well be a similar experience as Ali v Foreman with Jones covering up, allowing McClellan to blast away at him. Jones would an absolute fool to trade with him or even get to co cky, he'd more than likely end up the same as he did against Tarver!

Jones Jr. Undeafeated, He actually beat Toney (Though he was lackadaisical and unfocused during the fight u never knew which Toney u would get)
Mccellean is too one dimensional, and had major defensive lapses . Jones Jr shuts him out, possibly stops him.
Toney loses to Jones, but gives Mccellean a boxing lesson.
Mccellean is 0-2 against this group.

Jones didn't start getting K'oed or seriously hurt until he was past prime. Mccellean is vastly overrated and one dimensional. His biggest wins were a past prime Mugabi and J.Jackson who also on the downside of his career, also, every fight Jackson loss, he lost by Ko, his chin was always suspect even in his prime. He also was much smaller than Mccellean. So in retrospect Jackson was tailor made for Mccellean. Mccellean was a good puncher, but he landed bomb after bomb on Benn, who also was chinny . So could his awesome power be some what exaggerated? I think it was, when one takes a serious look at his competition.
Mccellean of course had the power to hurt prime Jones, but could he, and his limited skill set get it their. I don't believe so.

He beat Jackson when Jackson was considered the best MW in the world tbf.

    Jones definitely has chin issues.

I'm convinced Roy Jones Jr was unbeatable at 160 pounds

Jones didn't have a questionable chin until he came back down from heavyweight.
No one is knocking Jones out at 160 or 168, he was just too good.

In the 90s ...Jones vs McClellan was the fight I wanted to see the most ...but I honestly I think Roy Jones would have won

Sure Jones had issues with his whiskers , but how many times was he exposed in his prime? That's all I'm saying and would Mccellean and his limited ability have the skills to get it their? I don't think he would've.
