i'm a big toney fan and i can't stand Sam Peter. I just scored it like i saw it. 9 rounds to 3 for Peter so 116-111.

In that case the score would be 117-111.

Maybe you should just rewatch the fight.

I'll say it once again for all the idiots in this thread who think they are doctors. Steroids are NOT used to heal injuries in boxing. They are for putting on lean muscle mass and shredding fat.

Keep making **** up about Toney though, even though he got caught TWICE and didn't even try to defend himself with paperwork or anything from a doctor. :patsch

I do not believe you are a Toney fan and you obviously did not even seen the fight, end of story. By the way 9-3 is 117-111 and not 116-111.

maybe you should rewatch it and you would see that Peter had a point deducted.

Obviously you don't know what the hell you're talking about

I have seen that fight 3 or 4 times. Toney won that fight based on clean punching and ring generalship. He ouboxed the bigger man by landing many more jabs and clean counter right hands throughout the fight. Peter rocked Toney in the third and fifth but was clearly outboxed down the stretch plus like you reminded us a point was taken way. It was close to a robbery. You obviously did not see the fight.

judging from your previous post, you either didn't know Peter had a point deducted which means you didn't watch the fight or you don't understand **** about scoring a fight.

Ok I didn't remember that Peter had a point deducted... but I sure remember that Toney clearly won that fight.

At least I'm not believing that Peter won that first fight against Toney like you do, so I wouldn't open my mouth about other folks not knowing what they talking about if I was you...

lol both you guys have Toney avatars. I like Toney and i love watching him fight. And i don't like Sam Peter at all. But i just called it like i saw it. And it turns out 2 of the judges called it like i did too.

At the end of the day Peter is the one with the W, and he also outlanded Toney in both percentage and numbers. And also he is the more powerful puncher and he was more active.

This is why I have a problem when TV broadcasters are nuthugging one of the fighters too much. People watching the fight get a distorted view of whats going on, and then they cry foul when the official result is not what they expected.

btw, you forgot that Peter was deducted a point but you remember that Toney won? get real. Go rewatch the fight and ignore the commentators.

Time to bring in some objectivity here. It is the general consensus of the media and the fans is that Peter clearly lost the fight. The point deduction is irrelevant here. The decision is a classic example of corruption in boxing. Hell, it was so bad that even the WBC, who could have been happy with a young African born title challenger Peter, did something very rare in ordering an immediate title elimination rematch. Just watch Ivan Gotzev face until the decision was announced, it speaks volumes about the outcome...
