Bull****. And Freddie Roach isn't even Toneys trainer anymore. Shadeed Solouki is Toneys new trainer.

Exactly. Toney looked good in sparring, reminded me a bit of a fat Pernell Whitaker at times. If he can do that in the ring wednesday Rahman won't land a good punch on him.

This fight is a tough call, but I have Rahman by SD or close UD. It will be interesting to see what they weigh in at, and what kind of shape they look to be in. So far I have heard that Toney looks great, but thats only word of mouth

That's what I expect Rahman to do, he's gonna try to keep Toney at the end of his jab. But James knows this and he will adapt to that.

If Rhaman is focused, he will beat Toney like he did last time, in a fight that was called a draw. That is a BIG IF.

Who knows & who cares. Unfortunately, the winner will get a bogus ranking and a likely title shot.

So who wins? This is a hard fight to call due to the inconsistencies of fighters, their training habits, and such. I would like to see a clean KO, and the loser retire. Best guess is Toney’s prime has come and gone. I’ll pick Rahman.

Rahman by stoppage, would be sad to see even if I don't like Toney much. The first fight was years ago and Toney struggled and LOST, he was also stunned early by a right hand from Rahman and hurt to the body numerous times with him only laying on the ropes helpless at times. This is years later and Toney has already been in a really tough battle with one of the biggest punchers in the HW division Peter and took so many shots he shouldn't have taken, with one fight being too close and the other one-sided. Toney just simply can't take such bombs anymore and Rahman can hit hard when he commits to it and finds the opportunity and I'm telling you Toney will give him a lot of opportunities and his age is the reason behind it. Toney struggled against a can recently I just can't see him going the distance here, let alone win it. If he does I'll give him A LOT of credit even if Rahman is supposed to be an easy opponent.

If Toney's weight is indicative of a quicker, more coordinated fighter, then Toney will win a decision.

If Toney has lost speed and coordination since their first fight, then he will probably lose a wide decision.

Toney is ten times the fighter Rahman ever was, and he's in top condition. Rahman's chin, always glass, is now Grade A China. Toney will outbox him and might even stop him late. These days, Rahman's beard is so fragile, he's getting rocked by guys like Taurus Sykes.
