Yeah I know...I know, you don't care, meaningless fight, he's a fat slob and stuff, but please just answer the question if you can....I can't find any news about it.
Since the fight is on the west coast, they probably won't be weighing in for a while. He came in at 229 for his last fight against that journeyman. But then again, he also tested positive for roids.
I'm looking forward to it myself. Steve Kim says Toney was looking the best he's seen him in years in a recent sparring session.
Because of his age and smaller size I doubt James will be able to accomplish anything else in this heavyweight division... but if he's really serious about a comeback then I expect him to come in at 225 lbs or less. Anything over that and you can stick a fork in Toney cause he's done. A weight too high will just show more evidence of his complete and total lack of motivation and he mind as well hang them up right then and there on the scale.
Count me in as someone that's interested too. Both guys know they're in the 'last chance saloon' so should have prepared and fight accordingly. Weigh-in will probably be sometime within the next 6 or 7 hours I would guess... I'm calling Toney 224, Rahman 239.
IM on board too! i think this is gonna be a good fight.toney and the rock are both in shape. my guess is toney 217-223 rock 225-234 toney tko11
237 was his weight in the last fight w/ Rahman Rahman looked shite vs Maskaev I doubt he'll be in any better shape for this fight hence anything under 237 is good.................imo lol.
i found this, nothing to do with the weigh in but an interesting little piece http://www.***********.com/?m=show&opt=printable&id=14953
Just have a better feeling about it for Toney this time round...I didn't buy into all the Tai Bo stuff and promises of weight loss before, but I feel he can get down to 224 this time.
