Toney shouldve put himself in a 4 month training camp to first get that weight down a size where he can not have his balance effected like it has been. Get down to 215 then spend a couple months focusing and training for the fight specifically.

So are you saying that someone who is 5-10 and 220 can't be in shape?

no not at all. but the guy made 160.defintly his worst wieght but still he could make it.

5'10 is light middlewieght, maybe light heavy possibly cruiser but not heavywieght. come on man you must know this. there have been 5'10 heavywieght champions before, but they were cruisers and very light cruisers at that.

this isnt a trim guy either. this is james toney who's prime wieght is possibly 185 pounds. he isnt a bodybuilder either, he isnt even a huge physiqued guy. the guy just doesnt give a **** about wieght due to the no limit heavywieght division

if this is becuase your 5'10 and over 200 pounds doesnt mean to say your a proffesional fighter who apart from being paid alot of money has had only 4 hours in ring working for 5 years....i would at least get into decent shape for the rest of the hours. you cant say that he looks healthy. he is obese and cant get out of the way fo these punches. it does nothign for him

If so, he is really on something. They need to extra check what Toney has been doing.

If he is fat tub of lard in a HeavyWeight World Title fight, while on steroids. I can't imagine what he is on to be in great shape for this fight.

Yeah if a HW is anything under 6 ft, theyre either pudgy, or a freak of nature.

I guess Tyson would be a freak of nature at 5'10 and half, at 230 and still be being massively cut up and having abs?

Agreeing with you, I thought thats who you had in mind when you said that, I personally cant think of any Heavyweights as cut up as Tyson, over 200 pounds and under 6'0. Tyson's half brother Cliff Couser(Spell check) was pretty put together at 5'11 and 220+

Like Toney thought he needed steroids to fight Danny Batchelder (lol), but didn't need steroids against Sam Peter? Toney was only caught twice. But I am sure Toney has been on steroids his entire HW run, and probably Cruiserweight too.

I dont doubt you or have prove either way, but it makes no sense for Toney to take roids, his power still is below average, his hand and foot speed has decreased, as well as his stamina is much worse. I think it's pretty safe to say the roids made him worse, not better.

    we get the picture.
the point is that james toney is not tyson. mike tyson could of not made 160lbs. 190 pounds at the age of 12!!!

Toney looks to be in the best shape he can be at at this age and stage of his career. Saw the sparring, the reflexes are there and he's fast. Good timing also, and that's what he was missing in his last fights. If he does that in the ring wednesday Rahman will have a hard time to land a punch on him.
Toney is past his prime and a bit faded, yes, but he's not shot after all. He's done a lot of sparring to get his timing back, the long lay-off won't be as relevant as I feared. I expect him to look a lot better than in his last couple fights. At any rate he should have enough left to beat a washed up Rahman.
