At this time - no, he wouldn't. I'd favor the 2003 version over Arreola, but right now Arreola would most likely win.
What can I say? I see it going down differently. But In couple of weeks we will see what Toney has left, when he destroys Reed.
I wish i could understand what this ****** said, but in reality his nonsensical chundering is best left to the confines of his unfathomable wibble.
He's a first ballot hall of famer for what he did at lower weight classes. He's been unproductive and underwhelming at heavyweight. A fighter rarely gets credit for beating a fighter a previously vanquished opponent already beat. Peter beat Toney twice, and Wlad beat Peter twice (the second time with absolute ease). Who would give credit to Wlad for fighting Toney? A few posters on some message boards? Boxing is a fringe sport, but you don't even see Toney getting boxing press in Ring, Yahoo, or ESPN, which are the equivalent of "mainstream" for boxing sites. I can guarantee you that if Wlad decided to fight Toney, that would make news in Ring, Yahoo, and ESPN...and not in a good way. If Toney wants to become a top contender, let him fight his way there, like everybody else. Don't give me crap about people avoiding him. You don't think he could get a fight with Kali Meehan, or Derrick Rossy, or Maurice Harris? He can. He just doesn't want to, because he wants his mouth to get him to cut in line for a nice payday. If he wants to Klits to pay attention to him, let him generate headlines with some wins against Top 20 opponents for once. Or any opponent, for starters. *Edit - as a matter of fact, if I recall, according to the rules, a champion is not even allowed to take an optional defense against an opponent below the top 15. And Toney isn't ranked in the top 15 of any of the major organizations.
