The doctor asked Rahman how is the cut and his response was "I can't see clearly" then the doctor called it off based on that, he never asked Rahman if he could continue, he asked him if he could see well or not. If Rahman was asked and said he couldn't go on then sure we can say he quit.

Maybe this was the best outcome after all. If the fight had ended any other way, we wouldn't bother talking about it as much since the fight wasn't supposed to matter.

 

No he never said he wanted to quit, he just answered honestly that he couldn't see properly, he never said he doesn't want to or can't continue.
