I don't doubt you Dan...but I think that's BS. The rule of course, not you. A doctor should have all the right in the world to check on a fighter until the fighter says "I can't continue." If Rahman can't see, the doctor's first inclination should be to check on him and then make a decision, not to just wave it off. There's no reason for him to rush.
Ok then this is actually more of a no contest but some of you are obviously biased. Look toward the end of the video where the headbutt sends Torres crashing into the ropes and then he is hit before even having a chance to bounce back up. [yt]eTCqdV0JbWI&feature=related[/yt]
I CANT AGREE with you on the rule mate..,i wish gerald mccllean woulda said that with benn.., buit i sure woulda liked to seen more of that fight.., i respect your opinion though.., DAN LAW
I CANT BELIEVE SOME OF YOU ARE THIS DUMB? its amazing accidental foul + before 4 rounds = NC. its automatic! remember the holy fight. he kept fighting till the doc stopped it. they went to the cards. if it happened before 4, its a NC. i dont understand how people dont get this.
YOUR RIGHT but let the doctor say it..,once a fighter says it thats it..,the doctor wont even make a medical evaluation..,sorry mate DAN LAW
The problem with people saying the doctor stopped the fight ... the doctor gave a recommendation and the decision is up to the ref in this case (he said that himself in the post fight interview) He also said he did not even do a evaluation of the cut because Rahman himself said he could not see.
I was exagerrating but honestly I don't have exactly high hopes for Arreola and wouldn't bet on him against Toney, or even the tatters of Rahman tbh. :yep
NOT in california the doctor can stop the fight..,most commision are like that but not all.., DAN LAW
Yeah. He was in the ring for the introductions too. I wonder if he was supporting one of the fighters.
