Here's a guess, you never saw any of these fights? I think so. Heres another guess you've never seen McCallum/Kalambay? I think so again.

clearly we would be assuming this would entail a FIT toney. like the one who destroyed Holyfield, the one who outfought Jirov, the one who ko'd Nunn. Against RJJ he had shoulder injuries, in top shape who knows how it'd have panned out. Them losses you list there, evryone knows he ballooned in weight prior to all of them fights.

I made a similar thread a couple weeks ago.

I totally agree with you that Toney would win that tournament, if he somehow stays focused. I also agree that the guys you named would blow the present super 6 out of the water.

Shiiit which rounds would Ward win? Roy by brutal KO of Ward. Ward's chin isnt good. Ward idiolizes Roy, and too bad for him he'll never be half as good.

And Jones would have stopped Kessler. I like Kess, but he's too robotic for Roy. Kessler would have NO answers for Roy's speed.

    What a load of crap.

I'm not american, and I know many non-american boxing fans who hold Toney in high esteem. Likewise there are more than one US boxing fan who can't stand Toney. Your logic 'US boxing fan = Toney fan , non-US boxing fan = Toney hater' simply doesn't work. I know the general boxing public outside of the US doesn't know Toney, because he only ever left the US one single time, but knowledgeable boxing fans know him very well.

Then you narrow down Toneys wins to Barkley, Holyfield and 'that polish or russian guy' (Jirov is neither polish or russian). This only shows you have no clue whatsoever about Toneys career. You probably don't know who Michael Nunn is, and most likely never ever heard about Mike McCallum.

A prime Nunn would win the Super 6.

Yes, probably. But Nunn had his prime at MW - still he was a very good fighter after moving up to SMW, his record confirms that. I guess it'd be between Kessler and a SMW Nunn if he was in that tournament.

toney would have won the super6 of course.
even if abraham could have given him problems , he'd still do better than abraham against the rest. i can even imagine him stopping Froch , and regarding kessler , i find it hard imagining him going the distance against toney.
kessler will be toney's ***** as long as it lasts. i will even say , no more than 8 rounds. probably no more than 6.
