I take that version of Toney. I don't believe he would have had any problems with the fellows that gave Canelo a rough time. I'm sure there's a Nunn v Canelo thread down the road as well.
Well that Toney had a 10 week or so training camp for a 6'1 southpaw, but the Toney who fought orthodox fighters would win on points, Toney would dictate the range and pace behind his reach, Canelo would find it hard to get in on Toney with his slow feet, but if they did get in close, Toney would have success, Toney is the better inside fighter, but Canelo speed would probably win him in most exchanges, but most of the fight would be fought on the outside, so Toney on points.
