Toney to face Valuev on May 29th?

This might have been interesting a few years ago.

 

Where are people seeing this? Is there an actual source? I couldn't find anything from ESPN or anywhere else.

 

I want this fight just for the press conferences and to hear Toney rant about how big, ugly, and hairy Valuev is!

 

I thought Toney is training for MMA and wants to make his first MMA-fight in August.

ya i just read that in rafaels column, says nothing about valuev toney, im gonna guess if we asked we wouldnt get a link to this story

 

Toney is too small and old for Valuev, who jab him to a boring points decision at this point.


I'd rather see Toney lose to Valuev then seeing him submit to some bull**** armbar in MMA, though.

 

Could make sense if contract split terms aren't clear yet.

If NV beats JT? He would have a belt and just like DH said, two belt holders means a 50/50 purse split.

If he loses? He still gets his fight, just with the crappy split he expected from the beginning.

So yes there is bright side on this for JT, but don't act as though NV doesn't come out decently. He does.

I hope not. Toney is garbage these days. I think if they do fight, Valuev will win. I would much rather see V. Klitschko-Valuev, but since that one isn't happening, Valuev-Solis would be nice, with the winner facing Vitali.
