I personally always felt james would have beaten Bernard in there primes and if for some chance it materialized today james would still have enough to beat him today.....I just always felt james was a better fighter like him or not the guy was very skilled and tough as nails in his prime and even to this day is a tough fight for anyone...

I predict that Toney cuts the ring off by belly squashing Hopkins in a corner. I also predict that he takes away Hopkins's legs by chewing them off.

Toney 3-10 years ago would have beat Hop soundly IMO. But Hop has kept himself sharp and trim whilst toney is fat and has sucked up a ton of HW scale abouse...I think Hop might squeek this one out at this point,

Hopkins would have won this match at any point.

Footwork is too good for Toney.

anybody can drop the weight, problem is toney don't like road work,he doesn't like to run,and has very bad eating habits,if he can deal with both issues he can get down to 200 pounds.

I just can't understand how these two never fought each other,I know toney has always wanted to fight him,and hopkins made it difficult negotiating both with toney and a rematch with rj junior,....prime for prime toney was a better fighter than hopkins, just go and watch toney at middleweight he was a beast.

It would have been a decent fight a few years back but both are finished now in my opinion, especially Toney. They may as well just fight at heavyweight - now that would be worth watching!

I like this fight. Both are old and past their respective primes so no excuses can be made for the loser. They are more or less from the same generation and BHOP always said he would be motivated to fight someone new than a rematch e.g. RJJ or Tito.
