Although Toney's an ignorant moron he is nothing short of hilarious and entertaining when he gets the mouth running. I swear i've seen that broadcast before but missed the Toney section of it.

He sounds and looks exactly as cocky as Lacy did before the Calzaghe fight.

LOL! I remember this. Toney was ****in hilarious! Eubank was all serious and **** and Benn was just pretty cool and having a laugh with it. Great moment.

This interview seems like ages ago.

Unbelievable that "The big joke" is still fighting today at an elite level and that at a heavyweight. He will take on 6 foot 5 Thompson in a few weeks. To me only truly great fighters like Duran or Archie Moore can do this. Toney ranks behind them but only because he has no discilpline and is lacy.

Hey i'm not doubting his boxing talent by any means, but the way he acts and talks, he just seems like a 100% **** in my eyes, yes he is a very very talented boxer, and one in only a few to do what he has done, but personality wise is a hell of a lot to be desired. I know it makes a boxer sometimes, but he doesnt need to be like an petchulent child

Man, I was cringing all the way through the Toney bit. Is he really as stupid as the impression he gives?

I respect your point of view.

He still acts classseless now, especially for a guy who is 40. But on the hand he is quite entertaining and his trash talk should not be taken too seriously as it is part of the game.

I am no psychiatrist but it seems to me that he genuinely believes and means what he says during his 'trash-talking'. Personally, I have never seen him talk any other way.

He is obviously of low intelligence and therefore should not, I believe, be persecuted for this awful behaviour.

Its funny seeing all three of them there like that. Toney is the ignorant loud mouth, Eubank is on the other end of the scale, he is the condescending arsehole who thinks and acts far smarter than he really is. Nigel Benn sits right there in the middle, he is like a medium between the two.

yeah, they make a right threesome. In his day, I loathed Eubank for manner but he's a 'top geezer' compared to the (******ed) pugilistic ****** known as James Toney..........great fighter but what a moron.

How can a man as stupid as Toney clearly is be such a great fighter in his prime. For me, prime for prime, he beats both Benn and Eubank.

I never liked Eubank, he was such a ****, with all his preening and prancing, and just looked awkward as a fighter, though he was always in excellent condition.

Benn on the other hand was a real warrior, great to watch, but not a great technician, and likely to be given a lesson over 12 rounds by Toney, if he made it that far. Benn is still my favourite fighter of the last 20 years though. His fights were nothing if not spectacular!
