The undercard for this, as on the Pechanga site, is two 4-rounders and a 6-rounder, all in the lower weight classes.

Hardly seems worth the cash. Surely Goossen Tutor can throw in a couple of heavyweight matches from their stable?

Teke Oruh - Kirk Johnson (not a Goossen fighter, but likes fighting on their Pechanga cards)
Travis Walker - Manuel Quezada (fresh off a win)

How about it? Or throw in Malik Scott? Would make for better t.v. to have a second match to go along with Toney-Rahman.

I wouldnt watch this fight if it was 10 bucs on PPV, Toney is going to knock Rahman out or possibly stop him late in the fight. Rahman got rocked by Sykes, and barely beat him, the same Sykes that was brutally knocked out by Sam Peter just few years back. Rahmans a knockout waiting to happen, even if Toney is out of shape, he will find a way to expose Rahman's glass chin.

Toney by KO?, no way in hell man. Toney LOST to Rahman when he was younger and better but got a draw, he landed some flush shots on Rahman and didn't even stun him, it was Toney who was stunned by shots that night. I'm picking Rahman to finish Toney off by clear UD or TKO this time, Toney is too old and struggled against a journeyman in his last fight, he's finished.

Dont be surprised if it is, Don King will milk it for what it's worth, I remember seeing Tua on PPV a couple times fighting C- fighters after a long layoff.

El Borracho- yes, I am perdicting a knockout or stoppage of Rahman, he's terrible and has showed in his last two fights to have an extremely rocky chin against C- opposition, Toney will hurt him and probably stop him around the 8th or 9th. Put your money on Toney, he's going to win in dramatic fashion.

Rhaman looked horrible against Lawrence and Sykes, Toney will wear him down and then finish him late in the fight. Toney/Rahman fought back in March of 06 I believe, it was an eliminator match for the vacant WBC belt that Vitali gave up. Rahman was in great shape that night and looked pretty good, I think a big reason why he was sharp was because he inticipated fighting Vitali in November/December of 05.

This fight will propel the winner back in the Heavyweight picture, Toney wants it more than Rahman, you will see that come out in him come fight night.

It will be on FSN Best Damn Fight Night.

I still think a double bill would be in order. Needs another interesting heavyweight match.

Fair enough, I been pretty good on my perdictions lately, hopefully I could keep my winning streak going. It might be a bold perdiction, but after seeing Rhaman struggle against Lawrence and Sykes, he is a knockout waiting to happen imo, Toney will catch him or break him down.

He might break him down but lacks the power to make a difference even if he catches him well. I know that Rahman doesn't have the best chin but Toney doesn't have the best punch either and expect it to get worse at this stage. Toney will have stamina issues as well, he won't be able to keep up the movement and will need to rely on the ropes a lot, his speed won't be anything similar to what it once was either. Rahman still carries some power and decent speed, not much stamina but he won't need it considering Toney will be running out of gas sooner.

You may be right, anything could happen in this one. While Toney has lost alot over the last couple years, Rahman is about as lethargic as they come. Toney just needs counter when Rahman throws that haymaker of a right, the more Rahman misses, the more tired he will get. Rahmans stamina so better than Toney's, if anything it's worse. The only way I see Rahman beating Toney is with the telephone jab he has, something he has been reluctant use throughout his career, if he stays on the outside and dictates the pace with his jab, Toney will lose badly, but if history tells us anything, Rahman wont be consistent with jab and will get broken down by Toney through all the counter punches he will be landing.

I am looking forward to seeing this fight, and my money is clearly on the overall better fighter, that is James Toney.
