I think Toney is in the position that he may still get one more chance to fight for a title. I doubt he will fight Wlad or Peter-Vitaly winner. The best route for him is to fight winner of Ruiz-Valuev. I think Valuev wins again and since he was rather active champion he may fight Toney even this yer. So how do you see the Toney-Valuev fight ... pretty scary huh?
Personally I don't like the way they match up...but if Ruiz can compete with the guy, who Toney dominated...there's no reason Toney can't figure out a way to be effective.
I love JT but he's degenerated noticeabaly since he fought Ruiz. if anybody gave a **** about him they'd stop him from doing further damage to his brain.
This may be actually pretty good fight. Toney is slick enough to get inside but I dont know what he would do after that. :huh I guess his only chance is high uppercut to the belly. Valuev will definitely use jab and clinch in the close distance. I doubt Valuev is quick enough to catch Toney with anything huge.
I could see Valuev using his size to beat Toney. Although id love to see the fight i cant imagine it ever happening.
Toney will have to do a lot of body shots. I wonder how well Valuev could do hitting Toney in the head? He'll really have to reach down. I think in the end Valuev would win on points but it would probably be a boring defensive fight.
Toney may do well in this one, Valuev is such a big target. Toney could go to the body easily, I would think. But, he would have to work his way through that long jab, which will rack up a lot of points for the big man. I don't think Valuev will knock him out, but Toney will not be able to stand around looking for openings, the big man will out point him with the jab. Toney must be assertive with his advances.
