Toney has went 24 rounds with Peter, and 15 with Rahman, and 12 with Fast Fres. Toney has stamina to throw in the air. Arreola on the other hand, looked too heavy last time out.
Common people . . . stop being dillusional. Toney is 5"10' /72" reach/40 yrs old . . . Arreola is 6"4' /77" reach/24 yrs old . . . the last time Toney fought Dec 13, '08 . . . he only managed to get an SD win (115-112/114-112/110-116) against Fres Orquendo who 35 yrs old and is rated below 40 in the HWD . . . why is it so hard to pick between the 2?
Oh wow! this fight is intriguing, lmao..It would look like that those Fatboy guys from "disorderlies" trying to duke it out...What an embarassment.. they should do a food challenge instead..
Well, because style's are making fights, like they always say. Arreola's straight fw style should suit Toney a lot better than the slick awkward Oquendo. Besides, I also believe Toney only gets motivated for big fights at this point of his career, which a clash with Arreola would certainly qualify for.
He did school Peter in the first fight. In the second fight he was just trying to knock Peter out and did too much weight lifting. As a result he was slow and not slick. Anyway., the guy is 40 now. He is certainly not the samr guy who fought Holy 5 years ago.
I would like to see this fight cause James would still give Chris a tough go. Dont see him winning but will give Chris some issues such as head movement and a nice right hand that no doubt will land on Arreola very easy. I dont think Toney has the power to stop Chris but will stun him a few times. Will be an all out brawl though. I have Chris winning by SD.
Rahman was pulled out coz of a cut caused by an unintentional headbutt. Toney did not make him quit, or not in a legitimate sense anyway. If this hadn't happened it would have been nailed on to go the distance. I'm a Toney fan as well but lets not bull**** ourselves
I tend to agree with my fellow poster THE BLADE: a lot of neutral observers thought that Rahman took the easy way out in that fight.
