    i remember this too! it was davey moore who was from the same area i think and won 4 new york golden glove titles and lost to duran in brutal fashion.

    Watch the fight on youtube and you can see why he was hurt and knocked down. Duran Barkely was one of the fiercest middle weight fights of all time. Maybe ask why Prime Leonard was wobbled multiple times by Duran, but Hearns couldn't come close to hurting him.
