I really wish Jones would have stayed at HW and we could have seen Jones, Toney and Byrd in a series of matches to determine the king if the post Vitali era.
Byrd was elusive and would manage distance well enough to keep Toney from doing all of his counter-punching tricks. Chris wins 8 or 9 rounds out of 12.
At Heavy Byrd was too good all the way around for Toney at Lt Heavy and below Toney was special Cruiser is an even call.
Agreed. Who would have had the most victories had they met one another? RJJ should and could have beaten Byrd.
