http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news?slug=mmajunkie-118_Couture_Toney_catchweight The article states that Toney has fought as high as 257 lbs. but that is incorrect. Whoever researched the article must have confused his weight for Sam Peter's, as Peter weighed 257 for their first fight. The heaviest Toney has ever fought at was 237. Toney was 217.5 for his last fight in September of last year.
I have no interest in a catchweight. It should have been at 205. Toney has no business above 205 in MMA. In boxing, his skills and toughness ensure he isn't ko'd but he still loses. In MMA, it could be devastating against the top heavies.
Couture's camp says it isn't at a catch weight: http://mmajunkie.com/news/19828/coutures-camp-says-ufc-118-bout-with-toney-isnt-at-catchweight.mma Also, Toney is incorrect about any of his opponents being bigger than Lesnar.
