Interesting discussion they had about this on sherdog's boxing forum... Do you guys feel the same way ? Here's the link: http://www.sherdog.net/forums/f53/couture-toney-ufc-handing-boxing-gift-1209811/ I think he's got a point.... But , (maybe i'm being too positive)...I think this fight is still a 50/50 type situation...On one side , i agree with the fact that couture's chin is too fragile (the risk will be even bigger vs Toney).... But on the other hand...Randy can always shoot for the legs. & probably win by UD... Thing is....it only takes one...one shot. And if Randy is naive (dare i say , arrogant and delusional enough) to use his dirty boxing against Toney.. he's ****ed.
If you truly think it's 50:50 then, clearly, it is you who are delusional. I suggest seeing a doctor and/or psychologist.
i think toney has a chance standing, but you know couture clinch up againt the cage, you know it will happend im hoping toney will catch him on the way and knock his old wrinkled ass into retirement.=]
Toney has hands but as soon as Randy gets inside Toney's punching range then Toney has another chance to do something in the pocket and then he is down. That is if Couture doesn't shoot from outside of punching range which could be argued as technically incorrect but worth a shot as Toney may not have a scooby at being able to stop it. Toney has a solid chance if he has quality boxing and great defence against kicks, takedowns, subs etc This is pretty much what Chuck did to Couture twice and Couture has worse punch resistance now and is facing a sharpshooter with his hands. Toney vs Couture has me feeling like Rampage vs Evans. Why do I even want the arsehole to win?! but I'm torn.
What's new about that? He's still runnin it about the Klitschkos. In fact, I just read an article today about how he would slap the **** outta them if he saw them in public.
It's pretty self-explainatory. The fact that you're asking for elaboration is indicative of my original conclusion: see a psychologist. Your mental state is in doubt. I do not feel comfortable knowing you're walking the streets unsupervised.
Why I wouldn't say it's 50/50 but I give James a shot for sure. Couture might be overconfident because everyone is telling him he will win and at the same time the guy is closing in on 50 and his chin is far from cast iron. I wouldn't be able to listen to Toney if he should win...and then again even if he loses he will mouth off.
