toney will not resort to ground game if he don't have to...much like kung li does...he'll just walk around him...let him get up.. instead of risking some small package twistidee doo.. I have been growing more confident for James Toney...day by day... Couture is going to be smart. You don't trade with a heavyweight tough cat like toney wearing 4 oz. gloves... couture will do what they all do.. They all seem like scared strikers.... throwing kicks to the legs rather than gettin in there to throw some punches and fight... it always seems like leg kicks against the better striker... couture will try and kick toneys legs... throw some punches as well to make it look good but never really put himself in danger... Toney is prepared for a rush and takedown... he knows couture is going to try to rush him... 4 oz gloves i keep thinking... James seems more serious than he has been about boxing or anything in his career for a long time. no i do not see toney going NUTz letting his fistz fly unless couture waz basically out and the ref hadnt called it. but no other that that i dont see toney going NUTz as he is a kewl customer. now toney can let his fistz fly pretty good without going nutz so thatz what makez him so dangerous with that said however i think toney is going to find it alot harder throwing punches when he is being pushed around the cage push intentionally into position whereby one cant get leverage on a punch the kind of thing that in boxing the ref will stop one fighter from doing and take a point away if he does it again this aint a bad thread question for a toney thread
technical couture might underestimate james ? leg kickz goes hez to scared to mix it up a few punchez to make it look good ? listen maybe that happenz but i see couture closing distance after the very first salvo and pushing toney into the cage or taking him down right there and then if toney hammerz him really good right away i see a chance for toney if toney doesnt i see toney going backwardz into the cage and getting thrown around trying to set himself for punches and having couture simply keep tilting his centre of gravity off. possibly going for muey tai kneez from a neck clinch but also taking the first opportunity to put him on his back if toney doesnt hit him coming in or before he hitz the ground and STOP HIM i see couture murdalizin toney toney just hasnt trained for guyz to come runnin out of their corner with 4oz glovez on and bum rush you they take pointz away for that shyte in his sport great thing is that toney is kewl enough that he will probably really go for a SHOT at courture coming in so fight could even if lasting longer be decided in that first bum rush
quite simply, i think it depends on how hurt couture is. if he is just knocked off balance, toney will let him up. if he hurts him, toney will reign down blows and probably (lol) try to choke him out
there is too much being put on toney's punching ability. look guys toney hasn't ko'ed any heavyweight boxers he's had a few tko's but thats it. hew is'nt a massive puncher hes slick and good and sneaky and hurts guys from accumilation. couture will win this fight even if he gets hit bc by the time he does he will have his hands on him and recover quickly and the end will be near for toney. its not like its a prime tyson getting in their its a toney and people buy too much into his **** talking hes not koing any top mma fighter period its a different sport.
