Toney vs Couture set for 28 August

I'm no expert on MMA, and not even really a fan. But to say these guys don't have skills is ignorant. James is in over his head. They're going to make an example of him. He's been put in with the wrong guy. Toney will lose.

 

Which one is Couture again?

 

Joke fight. Toney should get demolished. I'm actually surprised that Couture has agreeed to particpate in this farce. He seems a classy and serious guy who was recently the ufc hw champ so he should be embarrassed that he is now fighting a slovenly boxer who hasn't had a good fight in about 4 or 5 years and has no mma experience and no relevant ko power

 

i think he's the b-hop of MMA. could be wrong though.

Couture si a classy guy.He won't hurt Toney as much as he could.Randy wins this easy and gets a good payday.He deserves it.

 

Well considering toney's recent shape, recent explosiveness, recent work rate, and hw power, couture would have to walk in front of toney, drop his hands, and let him hit him several times for toney to roll him.

 

They might as well have Toney face a Bear or a firing squad. This is a crazy idea. I'm not sure the Toney, who has zero experience in MMA, Could beat Butterbean in an MMA bout let alone A guy with skills like Couture. Wrestlers/grapplers don't lose any skill with age, don't rely as much on reflexes as boxers, and as a result normally age well. This is a terrible idea. Couture might not have the freshness to derail the best MMA fighter in the world but I think he is plenty fresh for this.

 

If it gets taken to the ground, Couture wins!!

 

Toney wont even show up to the fight!

 

This is just going to be more **** for MMA fans to mouth off about.

I remember during Mercer Vs. Kimbo, the commentators were making it as if Mercer was a Boxing legend and that millions of boxing fans were tuning in to watch him.

 

If it goes to the ground Toney is done!!

 

I don't think Corture is a submission guy but I could be wrong.

Let's hope Lights Out starches him while they are still on their feet.
