Toney vs Couture set for 28 August

He's the one who beat up Skeletor and is leader of the Masters Of The Universe.

 

Couture is not a submission guy at all, he is all about strike's and 'ground & pound' from what I know.

I think Couture struggles to get close to Toney without taking some fast counters, late in the fight i think he will go in for some takedowns and start going for the knockout, i see Toney keeping cool and BOXING his way to a slightly boring UD. Range and defence will be very importent for Toney in this fight, both guys have granite chins.

 

I think you missed the other posters point. I think by roll over him, he meant quite literally roll over him! Toney's a big boy don't you know!

Toney has been pretty ignorant of the sport with some of the comments I've read from him. He will most likely be embarrassed by Couture. It's clear White wants to make an example of him, while at the same time using Toney to lure some boxing fans..

I hope by some miracle Toney can pull this off. I'd actually love to see him fight Chuck Liddell. That would be a much better matchup. I'd favor Toney with his boxing skills and chin to outclass Liddell.

 

He's the older guy with a bald head or something like that isn't he? Is he still a formidable top MMA fighter? Anyone here know?

 

He has a wrestling background. I'm not sure how he rates atm but he's one of the older guys but still has the skills that MMA requires. Not sure how Toney does or if he knows what he's getting himself into.

 

Toney is crazy as hell. He should fight Brock Lesnar next.
