Randy will take Toney down right away. He isnt stupid enough to stand and strike with a world class boxer. Yeah Toney is shot..but still standing up trading punches with a boxer is foolish if your not a boxer of similar level. Couture will play to his own strengths and use his wrestling and get Toney on the ground for either a submission or a ground n pound. I hope Toney can pull it off against old Randy but I fear for him. He's not fighting Queensbury here its MMA and Toney in that arena is a nobody. Be interesting to see how much Toney has learned in MMA - his biggest lesson ought to be avoiding takedowns. Chuck Liddell was great at doing that in UFC and would always wanna stand and strike but Toney isn't fighting him. Couture via stoppage round 1 or 2 at latest. But I hope I'm wrong. Still I fear Randy will **** Toney on the ground and embarrass him. Will be interesting to hear all the crappy excuses he makes afterwards.
No one can really predict the outcome of this fight, there are simply too many question remarks on Toney's ability to do a proper transition to MMA. I wouldn't underestimate him though, especially as it seems that he's getting some serious work in... Toney has always been a fantastic athlete and I wouldn't be too surprised if he would actually beat Couture...
I never thought That I would be interested in seeing Toney again...but ok..this one I am actually interested in. Does anyone know when it is will happen (if at all)?
All james will need is Randy to stand with him for about 10 seconds to be able to catch him...if Randy gets him on the ground ITS OVER!!

Even if Couture does take Toney to the ground, I do not see the fight ending. Toney is very strong and a natural athlete, the fight will go back in the air. Vice versa, I do not think that the fight will immedialtely end if it takes place in the air for a minute or so. Toney is not a hug puncher, he accmulates punishment and wears you down with accurate shots.
Toney is much more experienced and skilled than the 46 year old Couture. Add to that, that Toney is stronger and has an iron chin and you get the result.
