this could happen sometime this year.

this fight for me is at the weigh in.

    if
williams were to weigh 235 lbs and toney wee to weigh 230 then id pick williams to win

    if
williams was to weigh 270lbs and toney 217 lbs then it is close but probably toney

if williams was to weigh 270 and toney to weigh 230 then its evens

if both were in good shape at williams 235 and toney 217 then its a 50 50 fight

I think Toney may well finally make an attempt to get his bodyfat down and come into this fight in somewhat doable condition. But then again, I am naive. I have thought he'd come into his last three or four fights in shape, and he hasn't yet.

If Williams can beat a washed up Tyson then he should certainly beat a washed up Toney

I think there are many different versions of Danny Williams.

Some of the fights he has lost, I have sat there open mouthed and amazed at how inept or out of shape he has been.

If Danny comes in to the fight in shape and fully focused then he can put up a damm good showing against anyone BUT that is asking a lot of him.

When Danny comes in heavy he is a joke and will lose against just about anyone.

The Toney vs Williams fight that is being muted could be the last chance for these guys to get a chjance of a big fight. The fight will prob be awful and be the end of the line for winner and loser but I really hope that does not happen.

I would love to see the two of them give it one last big fight and for them both to come in in shape and ready to put everything on the line.

Is Toney thinking of getting down to light heavy?

Word on the streets is that Toney is in good shape. If it's true or not I cannot guess.
There was talk about this fight happening in May or June, but nothing was announced, honestly I don't think it will happen...
And I'm very disappointed about that since I'm a big Toney fan, he's my favourite fighter and I was looking forward to finally see him at ringside when he comes over here to Europe...
I don't have money to travel to the U.S., JT come to Europe and fight Williams, it's a good fight and you've got some fans over here too

In Williams last fight against Oleg Platov who is rated in the top 15 by some of the sanctioning bodies, I thought he would come in ata decent weight. Unfortunately it was 270 lbs. Anyway after looking at Platovs record carefully I felt the williams could still win. As it turned out after weathering rough first couple of rounds he was starting to take charge and giving platov a beating. A clash of heads had occured and the fight was stopped and declared a no contest in Rd 4. I think this was done to save Platov from a loss, Williams was not impressed. I think Williams has the Power to beat Toney and if he trains properly I see no reason why he should not win. Toney has not impressed since the first Peter fight. I would slightly favour Williams !

I just hope my man Toney doesn't end up brain damaged.
He;s one of my favourite boxers.

  10. Williams would win, they need to test that ******* Toney for roids before and after the fight, to make sure it's a level playing field, Toney is washed up and he knows it that's why his fat ass has resorted to cheating..:verysad

If williams is in good shape he will beat the sh*t out of Toney. If not Toney outboxes him in a shitfest of a fight.

Its really a pretty good matchup, seeing as how they both are known to fight way overweight, and their performances are hindered when they do so.

Its really a case of these guys first fighting their own desire to overeat, then to fight each other................Its a battle of the buldge.

I am picking Toney to win a decision.

    Dumbest thing I ever heard.

No matter what the weights are Toney kills him.
