Jones had too much movement and speed for any version of Toney. However outside of a h2h matchup at heavy I would favor Toney to win and or be more competitive at this weight class against a wider variety of heavies than Jones. Toney had the better chin, and better fundamentals. So overall I think he would be (and he was) the better heavyweight.
