probably been done a zillion times but i couldnt give a flying fook, NO MENTION OF CALZAGHE PLEASE, as this thread isnt about calzaghe for a change. Who wins at 168, Toney or Kessler?
Incoming "Toney schools the robot" comments. Kessler > Drak Thadzi and Montell Griffin though:hey Anywho, James Toney decisions Kessler, I think:think
Toney UD for me. Kessler is an excellent jabber, but this could be his downfall vs Toney. Everything Toney does is based from countering from the other guys lead punch, the jab. Using movement from head and feet he'll position himself in ways to counter effectively and Kessler habit of boxing in sraight lines will be punished by a young James Toney. Kessler speed and pressure will win some round off of Toney, but there is only one winner here.
kessler to me is just too much of a robot to compete against world class fighters.. he does everything well but isnt special in any category... even when he fights fighters that are easy to hit like andrade he didnt look like he had that killer instinct
kessler is just one of those guys like a kermit cintron that have all the tools to be great but won't pull it off
