Moorer busier and has more tools, plus more pop. The only thing I see Toney having over Michael is defense, but being stationary and playing the counter game with Moorer won't win it for him. Moorer wins a decision.
Prime Moorer when he was around 215 was a great combination puncher at heavyweight. As much as I like Toney I think the very underated Michael Moorer would win.
Great fight between two of my favourites. Moorer is under-rated for me, he carried his power up from 175 like nobody else I can remember, he could box extremely well too, and proved his bottle against Cooper and Stewart. That said, Toney is a legit all-time-great, and he handled bigger, stronger guys than Moorer comfortably. The Toney of the Ruiz and first Peter fight takes a UD for me.
I think the Moorer Foreman fought could outbox Toney. Until he was pole axed he boxed pretty well vs George. I think his jab is the key.
